Wildfires are sprouting up all over the world and the smoke is becoming a major issue. Pearl Jam was forced to cancel their concert in Vienna last night, after frontman Eddie Vedder injured his voice during harsh conditions during their show in Paris earlier in the week. Clackamas Community College returns for its fourth year as part of the Metallica Scholar program to receive funding to transform the future of students in the community. Metallica created the Scholars Initiative in 2019, and since then the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation has been working with the American Association of Community Colleges to provide direct support for career and technical education programs across the U.S. CCC is one of those programs. Next year Netflix will launch a cheaper, ad supported version of the streaming service and it sounds like the ads aren’t the only difference, I guess the content will be a bit different too, the ad-supported tier won’t have everything the ad-free version does. NASA is awarding SpaceX a contract to launch a new telescope. The deal announced Tuesday will give the Elon Musk’s company $255 million to launch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. NASA says it will help study things like the effects of dark energy and dark matter and also carry out exoplanet exploration. The target launch date is fall of 2026. READ MORE.
