Jeff Bezos is having a massive $500m yacht built in Rotterdam. Well it’s so big they were going to have to dismantle the historic De Hef bridge to make way for the ship and residents were not having it and threatened to egg the boat if they went through with it. So they had to tow the unfinished trip and move it to an undisclosed location.

We mention yesterday that the sequel to Joker, Folie a Deux, will be out October 4th, 2024. Joaquin Phoenix will star in it, and now it’s also confirmed that his co-star will be none other than Lady Gaga, which makes since if the movie is a musical. READ MORE.

Researchers at Yale figured out how to reanimate dead cells in a pig. It could help keep organs alive longer so they can be transplanted and could ultimately help to extend the lives of people whose hearts have stopped beating or who have suffered a stroke. It also raises profound ethical questions about how medicine defines death, especially if someday it means being able to bring people back to life. Cracker Barrel is responding to online criticism over a Facebook post featuring plant-based meat. Apparently they’re offering "impossible sausage" now. Within a few days there were nearly 10,000 comments on the post filled with hate, with some saying they've lost respect for Cracker Barrel, would never eat there again, or even accusing the company of being "too woke." Cracker Barrel released a statement Thursday saying they’re "always exploring opportunities to expand how guests experience breakfast" and described themselves as a place "where pork-based and plant-based sausage lovers can breakfast all day in harmony." We’re always complaining about there being too many streaming services and we're about to have one less. Kinda. Warner Bros. Discovery announced that HBO Max and Discovery Plus are merging into one new streaming service. Look for the as-yet-untitled service to launch next summer. READ MORE.
