The lines continue to build in London to pass by the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II. Yesterday the line was estimated to be around five miles long, with a wait of over 14 hours to pay respects to the late monarch. People are being warned that they’ll have to stand for many hours with few opportunities to sit down, as the line is constantly moving. The Queen will continue to lie in state until Monday. And if you’re interested in adopting a pet, the Oregon Humane Society is reducing or in some cases waiving adoption fees in response to an influx of cats. Earlier this week the Salem campus took in 100 cats and in Portland they have nearly 500. As an incentive to adopt, there are no adoption fees for cats ages 1 and up til Sunday (September 18th).
