The lines continue to build in London to pass by the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II. Yesterday the line was estimated to be around five miles long, with a wait of over 14 hours to pay respects to the late monarch. People are being warned that they’ll have to stand for many hours with few opportunities to sit down, as the line is constantly moving. The Queen will continue to lie in state until Monday. The Taylor Hawkins tribute show in London a couple of weeks ago has been called “one of the greatest rock and roll shows ever assembled” and now a couple of Foo Fighters songs are seeing a resurgence in popularity because of it. 'Everlong' is currently the #1 song on the Billboard Hot Hard Rock chart and 'My Hero' is sitting at #3. READ MORE.

The Bulls jersey that Michael Jordan wore during Game 1 of the 1998 NBA Finals just sold at auction for a whopping $10 million. They predicted it would sell for $3 million. No word on who the buyer is, but obviously someone with deep pockets. READ MORE.

And if you’re interested in adopting a pet, the Oregon Humane Society is reducing or in some cases waiving adoption fees in response to an influx of cats. Earlier this week the Salem campus took in 100 cats and in Portland they have nearly 500. As an incentive to adopt, there are no adoption fees for cats ages 1 and up til Sunday (September 18th).
