Earlier this year, there was a TikTok "health trend" called the "Sleepy Chicken Challenge" where people were supposedly boiling chicken in NYQUIL. Some people claimed it could be a "cure for a cold.” For most of us, common sense immediately flagged that as an obvious no but doctors came out right away and warned about the dangers. And now, the FDA has issued an alert, they say boiling a medication can make it much more concentrated and change its properties in unpredictable ways and even if you don't eat it, simply "cooking" it can be bad for your lungs because you'd be inhaling the vapors. Former Journey frontman Steve Perry has filed a petition to cancel the trademark registrations filed by current journey members Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain, claiming that they’d filed to register 20 Journey tracks for usage in marketing hats, T-shirts, athletic jackets and other paraphernalia, a move he did not agree to. The singer claims that the 2020 filing violated an earlier agreement that stipulated that agreements must be made with "prior, written unanimous consent of all partners in each instance.” READ MORE.

There will be a major disruption of Interstate 84 starting Friday night. The freeway will close in both directions through Monday morning for construction near I-205. The work is for the project to improve the MAX Red Line. I-84 will close at 10 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Monday. Drivers will be detoured onto I-205 but should still expect delays.
