We talked about this briefly as the verdict was being read on Thursday but in case you missed it, Nikolas Cruz, the now 24-year old who admitted to killing 17 people in Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February 2018, has avoided the death penalty. Researchers at Boston University are catching heat for creating a new strain of COVID that might be even deadlier and they did it on purpose. They took the first virus and gave it the spike protein that made Omicron so contagious, tested it on mice and it killed 80% of them. Now they used a type of mouse that's very susceptible to Covid. So they doubt it would be that deadly in people, but they're not 100%. READ MORE.
Blink 182 fans are not happy. Tickets for their upcoming tour went on sale last week and just like we saw with the whole Bruce Springsteen debacle, Ticketmaster used dynamic pricing and since there was a ton of demand, tickets were obscenely expensive and hard to get. In fact, Mark Hoppus says he wanted to know what the experience was like so he tried to buy tickets and was unsuccessful.
