In his upcoming memoir, Matthew Perry says that his changing appearance throughout 10 seasons of “Friends” serves as a dead giveaway for which drugs he was using at the time.
According to Perry: “You can track the trajectory for my addiction if you gauge my weight from season to season.” He adds, “When I’m carrying weight, it’s alcohol; when I’m skinny, it’s pills. When I have a goatee, it’s lots of pills.”

Ford and Volkswagen, two of the world’s largest automakers, are shutting down their joint effort to develop self-driving cars. Ford said yesterday that the large-scale profitable commercialization of self-driving cars was further out than expected, and therefore would take a $2.7 billion hit to walk away from the project. They say they’re still “optimistic” about a future for fully self-driving cars, but say that “profitable, fully autonomous vehicles at scale are a long way off.” READ MORE.
