It been confirmed, late Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts will be featured on the band's next album. They are working on their first album of original songs in 18 years and is expected to be released in 2023. A Belgian non-profit is testing out tiny backpack wearing rats to hopefully help first responders search for survivors among rubble in disaster zones from earthquakes. They say because rats are typically quite curious and like to explore, they’re great for search and rescue. Plus, their small size and excellent sense of smell make rats perfect for locating things in tight spaces. READ MORE.
Oaks Amusement Park is holding its final weekend of operations for the 2022 season. Rides, mini golf, games, and the ScareGrounds haunted houses will be open each night through Monday. At 7p Halloween there will be a free fireworks display. The roller rink remains open through the fall and winter. The amusement park will reopen next spring at Oregon Spring Break. READ MORE.
