The world's largest active volcano Mauna Loa is erupting for the first time in nearly 40 years. The eruption began on Hawaii's Big Island late Sunday night. Which was not really a surprise as it follows several weeks of increased seismic activity at and near the volcano. The U.S. Geological Survey says even though there's no threat to communities at this time, no one is ignoring the issue. While rivers of molten lava aren’t yet a concern for residents, officials say volcanic gas, fine ash and thin strands of volcanic glass called Pele’s Hair could "be carried downwind." READ MORE.

Ford has announced a recall of nearly 650,000 SUVs that are in danger of bursting into flames. They say cracks in the fuel line in Ford Escape and Bronco Sports SUVs have already caused fires in at least 20 vehicles. The recall affects Escapes made between 2022 and 2023, and Bronco Sports SUVs made between 2021 and 2023. Rather than replace the faulty fuel injector that's causing the cracks, Ford is adding a program to the vehicles' computers that alerts drivers when fuel is leaking. A tube that will drain leaked fuel down to the ground will also be added. READ MORE.
ICYMI: Yesterday Metallica announced their first new album since 2016 and world wide tour. The album is called 72 Seasons and it’ll be out April 14th, they say the title refers to the first 18 years of our lives. Their M72 World Tour will launch April 27th in Amsterdam and run through 2024 - they’re gonna be doing to shows in each city with different sets each night.
