This handsome fella is Benjamin. Benjamin - Oregon Humane Society . And, he has a video! Benjamin is a 50-pound husky who is almost 2 ½ (he was born on June 6, 2020). He came to us from Grants Pass, where his previous owners left this note with him:
“He’s dog and cat friendly. Loves kids and babies. He knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and leave it. If you say, ‘Say I love you’, then he’ll say it. He knows how to say ‘please’ and more. He’s the best boy”.
Benjamin is a high-energy, very smart dog. He’s looking for a home with active people who will regularly get him out for long hikes, walks, or runs. In fact, he’s on the Oregon Humane Society running team and he just loves going out on runs with our volunteers! He’d do best in a house in a quiet neighborhood and would not do well in any shared wall living situations (apartments, townhomes, etc). That’s because, like a typical husky Benjamin is a big talker! He can be very vocal and he has quite a loud bark.
Benjamin loves people- he’s a very friendly and affectionate boy. And he adores playing with toys. He’s just an all-around fun-loving guy!
