Nearly 40 years after it was launched, a retired NASA satellite is coming back to Earth. The 5400lbs pound Earth Radiation Budget Satellite, which was launched in 1984 onboard the space shuttle Challenger, is expected to re-enter Earth's atmosphere this weekend. Most of it is expected to burn up upon re-entry Sunday evening, but pieces of the satellite will likely survive and end up crashing onto Earth. Ron Jeremy will reportedly be declared incompetent to stand trial for more than 30 counts of rape. According to the Los Angeles Times, Ronald Jeremy Hyatt (69) is suffering from "severe dementia" and will be declared unfit for trial on Jan. 17, instead he’ll likely be placed in a state-run hospital, following allegations from at least 20 women since June 2020. If in the future his condition improves, he can still be declared fit for trial, but he’s 69 years old. If he really has dementia, the chances of that are slim. READ MORE.

A robot lawyer will argue its first court case next month and help someone fight a speeding ticket. The website DoNotPay.com has an A.I. program that can listen in on court cases and come up with strategies in real time. Most courtrooms don't allow electronic devices that connect to the internet. So they picked one that allows for Apple AirPods to be used as hearing aids. The person fighting the ticket will have AirPods in while the robot lawyer listens in through their cell phone and tells them what to say. READ MORE.
