Singer-songwriter and guitarist David Crosby has died. He was active on Twitter til Wednesday and one of his final Tweets was this critique on Heaven, "I heard the place is overrated . . . cloudy." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, as a member of the Byrds (1991) and Crosby, Stills & Nash (1997). He was 81 years old. READ MORE.
Alec Baldwin will be prosecuted for the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the "Rust" movie set. He’ll be charged with involuntary manslaughter. The film's head armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was also charged with involuntary manslaughter. Both face a maximum of 5 years in prison if convicted. The Assistant Director, Dave Halls, has agreed to a plea deal for the charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon. He will get a suspended sentence and 6 months probation. READ MORE.
Cory Matthews is getting into politics! Actor Ben Savage, who gained popularity on the hit 90s TV sitcom Boy Meets World, is making a bid for Congress. According to papers filed yesterday with the Federal Election Commission, he’s vying for the 30th District seat currently occupied by Rep. Adam Schiff.
