Oregon City's Public Works Department is the first in the state to employ artificial intelligence to help find potholes. They're testing Cityrover and so far, it's working. The computer is attached to a street sweeper, the A.I. device continually scans the road ahead as the sweeper drives city streets every day. It then marks spots it identifies as potholes, relaying the information and images to a database accessed by staff. Once they determine what the device marked is a pothole, it can be scheduled for repair. READ MORE.
