This week we’d like to feature Shasta as our dog of the week, and Shasta is a very good girl! Shasta - Oregon Humane Society. She’s a beautiful white Shepard mix who is about 4 years old and weighs 66 pounds.
Shasta is a favorite of both staff and volunteers. In fact, just this weekend she got to go on a field trip to McIver State Park with one of our staff members and what a grand time she had! If you’re looking for a girl to go on adventures with, Shasta is it! She loves taking walks and hikes, and also loves running. In fact, she’s on the Oregon Humane Society Running team. Shasta came to us from Josephine County in southern Oregon, and we don’t really know anything about her life there. However, here at OHS, we’ve learned that she knows sit, down, and shake, and she will not pass up a belly rub! Um, more belly rubs, please!
Shasta would do best in an adult-only home and would prefer to be your one and only! She’s not a huge fan of other animals, and of course if she’s the only one that means she gets ALL the attention. Perfect!
