This handsome, blue-eyed boy is Jericho. Jericho - Oregon Humane Society Jericho is an American pit bull mix who is a little over a year old and weighs a compact 46 pounds. And he has a video in his profile. He was found as a stray in Washington County and came to us at Oregon Humane Society after no one came to pick him up.
Jericho is a young and active boy who is a prized member of the OHS running team. If you’re looking for a running or hiking partner, he’d be a great fit! He walks well on leash and knows his basic commands. Jericho would love to take a dog training class with you. What a great way to bond with him and learn things together!
He’s crate trained, mostly potty trained (he might have a couple accidents while getting used to his new home and routines) and loves to play. In fact, his favorite things to do are play fetch and run. Well, that and snuggle! He’s lived with a cat before and we don’t recommend that for his next home. He really wanted to play and the cat didn’t! We think he could do well with another dog to play with and would probably do best with a dog close to his age and play style. He’s so young and active that he might be a little too much for an older dog.
